I am a fairly logical person and have several ideologies that guide my actions. This page has compiled a list of my core ideas.

Always at least 100%

We all have a limited amount of time, so why not live it to the fullest? The spirit of doing is evident in everything I do, whether it's work, hobbies, or influencing. This idea is also closely related to other ideologies:

  • The most important resource → time
  • Experiences or matter → experiences
  • Important things at work → learning something new

A few years ago, I was quite shy about trying out more unusual things, and I don't think I would have dared to run for office in a major election, for example. However, experience has taught me that daring only benefits, and so nowadays there aren't many things I would completely rule out trying.

Think positively

I have found that negativity usually gets you nowhere, so I try to think about things in a positive and optimistic way. Even though there are all kinds of bad things happening in the world, I still believe in a positive future. Good always wins in the end, even if it sometimes takes its time.

Strive to do the right thing

People in the IT industry are widely familiar with Google's old slogan "don't be evil". Although the slogan may not have worked completely for Google, I still believe in it strongly in my own work. I realized at a fairly young age that while doing things right is in most cases more difficult than using more dubious means, doing things right is always more profitable in the long run.

Listen and be prepared to modify opinions

Although I have many opinions on things, I am willing to change my mind if the matter is sufficiently substantiated. Emotional stories and fake news do not sink in with me, but I can be convinced by truthful logic. I try to gather information primarily by observing the environment myself, because I believe that this way it is possible to collect the most truthful information.
